Well, mine aren't as professional looking but I bet they tasted better:). So how did I solve my dilema of wanting to eat all of them? I took the whole batch (minus the 2 that snuck into my mouth) to Carrabbas for Jesse and his pals. I dropped them off and text him as soon as I got home and he said they were gone in 5 seconds. When I saw these. They are so so so cute! I'm planning on making them... maybe this weekend. We'll see. The problem is there is when I make things, there is way too much for just Jesse and myself. So I'm left with the dilemma. I have 2 choices- either gorge and eat all of them myself (regretting it later, but loving it when I'm shoving all the frosting and lemonade and strawberry goodness in my face) or take them to a neighbor... I bet you can guess which one I usually chose. And that is why I have a love/hate relationship with cooking and baking.

No News is Good News

There hasn't been too much going on in our lives the past couple of weeks, but here's a few things I've been thinking about.

I am completely, 100% ready for spring. I'm sick of wearing longsleeve shirts under short sleeved shirts under long sleeve shirts. No more layering! I love that Utah has 4 distinct seasons, I just wish this particular season didn't last so long.
Will I ever finish Harry Potter? I don't know. Instead of reading I just play Mario on my DS- I'm a gameboy junkie.
Our kitten is so cute still- what's not cute is the scratches he has put all over my hands and feet. He's obsessed with fingers and toes so he's just playing with them, but his little claws leave their marks. I feel bad getting him declawed because there is so much he does with his claws- I would feel like we had cut off his fingers.
My sister has talked me into a marathon in June. I thought I would do one last year, but that didn't happen. We'll see how my training goes this time around.
I started Piano Lessons last week from Jesse's G-ma! I took them when I was a tot for 5 years, didn't practice ever and so I have nothing to show for it. This time will def be different.
Fresca is my drink of choice now. Someday I'll be off soda completely, but atleast this doesn't have caffeine in it!
Jesse won free filet dinners from Carrabbas, so last Saturday after our cute little cousin's b-day party, we claimed our prize. It was for sure THE best steak I have had in my entire life. So so so tender. It was perfect. Need a good steak? Get the filet marsala at Carrabbas, it was seriously amazing. I've been thinking about it ever since.

I should have thrown away that box of See's chocolates sitting on our counter a week ago. Now I have eaten almost the whole thing by myself. Even though I don't even like any of them. They are all crazy flavors inside like raspberry creme, but I never know the flava flave until i bite in and then I have no choice but to finish it off, along with 4 more gross chocolates.

I like the snow just fine, but if it snows another half inch, I swear I won't be able to drive anywhere. My car was about stuck three times on the lane to my job today. I think I need to hook one of those scrapers to the front bumper of my car, and I'll just clear my own way where ever I go.
I forgot how much I love string cheese until I ate 5 last night. The best brand is the Chuck-e-Cheese ones. I'm serious, you've never seen peeling action like this before.
We have DVR now!!! It's been the best 2 days of our lives. Basically it has been Jon and Kate Marathon and I have never been happier. I can't wait to record LOST and watch it over and over and make my own theories for what's going to happen next.
I want to learn how to snowboard. I think I would enjoy the winter a lot more if I had some sort of activity. Well, I do modge podge a lot in the winter... so I guess that's a good activity.
I think I'm going to start taking Piano lessons from Jesse's g-ma. I just need to call and set it up because I seriously regret wasting my 5 years with Mary Hanberg and having nothing to show from all those lessons.
Jesse started school today and guess who didn't.... wwwwaaaahaaahaaa.
Reeses Puff Cereal is for sure the best thing ever invented. So yummy and part of a balance breakfast. Okay, not so balanced when you're eating 6 bowls in one sitting but it's so hard to stop.
Still haven't found that camera.
We got some free ticks to the Jazz game on Monday night, but alas the snow once again ruined my life. No way were we going to drive up to SL in that mess, but I was really sad. I love the Jazz.

New Addiction

If you own a Wii and need a new game, this is THE one to get. The other night Jesse and I decided since we have been so good this year that we could each open one present early. And this is the one I MADE him open. I knew he'd love it, what I didn't know was that I would love it so so so much. We opened it on Thursday and have been up past 1 a.m. everday since then. Getting up for work this morning was rough, but I think it was worth it because I am starting to beat Jesse more and more. My arm is so sore from all that pitching and batting, so it's a work out too. Anyway, really if you are looking for a new game.... get this baby!

I'm thinking about deleting this blog... I don't have enough things to fill it with so that it can continually please my fans. Thoughts?
What are in my presents under the tree? I love surprises so so so much. But really can I just open them right now? It's so hard for me to wait.
Last night Jesse and I were going to go to Temple square because we both had the night off, then we opted to stay at home instead. At first I was wondering why we're so boring? Then I realized we are never home together and it's so nice to just be home and relax together and watch re-runs. It's such a fun activity.
Why are people still talking about the election? Please stop. It won't change.
Why can't i just make up my own mind of what I will do after graduation? I just want someone to tell me what to do, but then when people tell me what to do I just want them to stop... how will this vicious cycle end?
I miss Deedra living closer.
Why won't my parents just move to Orem?
I love Amazon.com. My package just came, and it was on time, and I could track it the whole time it was in shipping. I love it when you can see exactly where your package is at.
Who will send me on What Not to Wear? I could buy so many awesome clothes with $5,000. Somebody out there, let's make a pact, I'll nominate you and you nominate me. And we won't be offended that we got nominated and our friends think we have ugly clothes.
Last night, Jesse and I had our own What Not to Wear, kind of. He made me go through my clothes and it was just like on the show when the girl is crying for Clinton and Staci to not throw the things away! Those clothes have sentimental meanings, no ,no, no! But alas, I gave in and have a laundry basket full of clothes for my lucky nieces and sisters and anyone else who wants to dive in.
Should I just give in and drink Diet Mt. Dew everyday? Jessica, your thoughts? Wait, I think i'll know your thoughts. Also, I think I deserve the treat.
Why can I not wake up in the mornings anymore. And that also means I haven't worked out since my last post that says I LOVE exercising. ha ha well not that long ago, but it's almost been that long since I last worked out.

2. Oh, I was just doing my thing working at Buckle and he couldn't take my eyes off me. He wouldn't even leave the store! Oh wait- that's because he worked there too. We didn't date or really even talk when we both worked there, but after I stopped working there he asked me on a date.
3. Well, not very long. Our first date was in April, and we dated throughout the summer, but didn't really get serious until the end of the summer. Then we were engaged in December. So, usually we'll say we dated for 7 months. I don't even know.
4. We were engaged for 4 months.
5. We have been married for almost 7 months and we have hated every moment of it. Just kidding. It's been really good.

Hopelessly Devoted to You

These are 5-10 things (not people or places) you require everyday in your life. If you have to go without it your day just isn't as good. It might break my heart if I don't have these, I might even cry. So here we go!

1. Chi Flat Iron- I wasn't blessed with Straight, soft, shiny, or very managable hair. So thank you so much Flat Iron Inventor. You really have saved my life!

2. Bio Silk Silk Therapy- Like I said, shiny hair for me? No. Just a little bit from this bottle helps so much and it lasts forever!

3. Gum- It doesn't really matter the flavor or the kind but my favorites are Orbit, Five, and your good old Extra gum. I like it minty, fruity, or spicy. Whatever the flavor, my day just can't go on without gum. Oh and I LOVE those big balls of bubblegum. I'll get them whenever we go to the mall.

4. MAC Make Up- I'm not a crazy, I won't go anywhere without make-up on person... But when I'm getting ready for the day, I'll always put make-up on. It's just how I roll. And now that I've tried MAC, I just can't go back!

5. Toast with spray butter- Jesse will be the first person to tell you that if we are out of bread, it's because I ate the whole loaf. I don't know why I love it so much but I do. Right now I only like the Prarie Grain brand- it just makes the best toast. And with zero cals in the spray butter, you can't go wrong.

6. Gold's gym- Well, I'm not hopelessly devoted per say, but I try to go everyday and the days that I don't make it, I feel like a blob. So it's just better if I go and keep myself happy.

7. My Computer- My blogging/facebook addiction would have never developed to it's full potential if it wasn't for my beloved computer.

2.How long have you guys been married? 6 months, next week. Can you believe it's been that long? I know 6 months is nothing, but it just seems like our wedding was a week ago.

3.How long did you date? Like 8 and engaged for 3 1/2 months. It's hard to say how long we really dated because we were off and on for the first, and then a little in the middle and who even knows. We're married now and that's what matters.

13.Who is the first to admit when they are wrong? I think me. I just feel bad and even if I'm not wrong I'll say I am because I hate fighting. But Jesse is really good to say if he is wrong. We've been lucky so far because neither of us have been too stuborn to get over it. Maybe that's because we're still newlyweds and soon we'll learn how to use the silent treatment better:).jk.

I used to hate this show. Well, not really hate but I wouldn't leave it on the channel very long. I thought it was really crude and I guess I'm becoming decencitized (spelling?) because now I think it is just funny. Don't judge me. Stewie is just the best!

It makes me sick to think of running without an ipod. And Apple is just pure genious for coming up with the whole idea.

MMM and only 5 calories per 8oz serving. These are seriously so good, you would never even think there were hardly any calories in there.

COSTCO

We don't shop there a ton, just because it's not practical for us. We can't go through that much food before it goes bad, but when we do, I'm just so glad about it. They seriously have the best produce. The grapes are amazing and they are one thing that I can go through the whole big fat container by myself. Also, sometimes Costco just surprises you and has cute dresses and coats and clothes. When we have babies I am getting so many of their outfits there. Right now they even have plush baby halloween costumes for 9.99. What a steal, I just only wish I could fit in them.

Biolage smoothing cream

My hair is no model for smooth hair, but this stuff has made a big improvement on what it used to be. It's hard to get this mane tamed, but this stuff helps a lot.

When I win the lottery, the first thing I will buy is every color of eyeshadow MAC has to offer.

3 Week Anniversary

Tomorrow marks the 3 week anniversary since I quit Diet Coke. And I know none of you will think this post is dumb because you KNOW how hard it can be to quit it when you drink on EVERYDAY. Things are going good and I'm impressed that I've gone this long. I don't really even crave it anymore... EXCEPT yesterday my boss bought one for me because she didn't know I had quit. And there it was, on my desk, staring me in the face for about 3 hours. I finally had to hide it behind the printer because I didn't want to look at it anymore. I thought I could just save it for a special occasion, but I think it's better if I just keep it out of my posession completely.

Let's be honest, I don't really know what the point of this post is. Mostly it's just that Jesse and I and his parents somehow got on the subject of Donny Osmond tonight. So I guess it's only appropriate that I share my DO moments with the world.

Last year, this man you see here spoke at the Orem Institute of Religion. I was listening to Soldier of Love the whole way there to get myself pumped for the experience. He had recently finished his music video with Wierd Al Yankovic (please watch it on the right of my screen!). And he somehow spent almost the whole hour relating that video to the gospel. ha ha it was nuts but really entertaining. It was a really big stretch, but I guess he tied his celerity moment into the church.

Anyway his whole thing was that he was so nervous to do the video with Wierd Al. But he decided once he got there to just let loose and everyone loved it. And that is how we might feel about sharing info about the church. We might be nervous but we need to just relax and do it. Like I said, kind of a stretch but look at that smile; it's an hour and a half of my life I don't ever want to replace.

These are pictures of Cat and myself in Donny's backyard a couple of years ago. And yes, those are his golden records in the background- he's a little bit country (jesse tells me he was actually a little bit rock and roll. what can ya do) and a soldier of love.

Remember when Nastia tied for 1st place with the chinese baby and then ended up with the Silver??? That was nuts and I understand how they did the scoring and how she ended up with silver, but I definitely feel for her. How crappy to get the same exact score as the girl who gets gold... but somehow end up with silver.

Let's take another trip down gymnastics memory lane.... Shawn Johnson rocked on the dance routine. She had to go first, and kept the highest score til the very last person. I might be biased, but I really thought her routine was better than the other chica. Sorry American girls, I was really cheering for you. But silver rocks too and you have definitely kept gymnastics as one of my fav olympic sports to watch.

Today is the day I'm telling it all. It may be Wednesday but eh, what can you do?

Opening Ceremonies are in just a few days! Well like two to be exact! I can't believe it, I love the Olympics. We need Tivo so I don't miss everything while we are in Disneyland- oh well Disneyland rocks too. And there will still be lots of stuff to watch when we get back. Anyway the TTA for this week asks- Are you competitive? Which event would you chooseto participate in?

I think I am semi-competitive. Not enough that I am killing everyone to win, but I do like to win. However, I get over losing really easy... like the next day I have forgotten everything. I guess that's why losing every b-ball game in high school never forced me to try harder. jk. We didn't lose EVERY game.

If I was really good and participate in whatever event I wanted to, I would do the track stuff. Those people are so fast and it would be so awesome to finish a mile in 4 minutes or something like that. Second choice- gymnastics. You know how I feel about Keri Strugg. Love her.

Okay, there is a little snow cone shack in the parking lot of the Scera Pool in Orem, and those are the best snow cones I have ever had in my entire life. My favorite flavor is Snowberry, which is banana, strawberry and something else I can't remember. Anyway, you can get a scoop of ice cream on the bottom or cream drizzled on the top- I do both. The ice cream is such a nice little surprise when you finally get to it. So yummy. I'm going to go get one tonight and no one is stopping me.

As for the home made icecream, Jesse and I got an ice cream maker for our wedding and we love it! We have used it a couple of times and used the same recipe both times. So good. The first time we did Strawberries and the second time we did raspberries. I'm going to post the recipe as soon as I get home. I got it from Marcie, so I hope she doesn't care that I'm sharing:)

Well, if you know anything about me, you know that Red Vines licorice is in my top 3 treats of choice. The reason for this is because they are thicker pieces than the meesley twizzlers.

So the last few bags I have boughten I have noticed the pieces are getting skinnier and smaller! I thought maybe it was just a figment (spelling? or even a real word?) of my imagination. Then on our trip, I brought along a bag and I was looking over the nutrition information. There is 140 cals in 4 pieces. 4 pieces! It used to be 140 cals in 2 pieces! They have basically been cut in half!

Mostly, I just wanted to inform you of this injustice. I will not stop eating these, because it's more than just the thickness that I like. To all my fans... I'm sorry this is late! I wouldn't have even remembered if it hadn't been for Cat and Jessica. Yesterday I was thinking, "I really wish I had something to blog about". Well now I do, but this weeks is kinda dumb. Here it goes anyway! And when will the rest of you start doing TTA too? Come on, join the party.

What are your "must have" workout favorites.

Why yes, I do work out. I try to go every morning even though it bites so much having to wake up so early. Atleast now it is warm when I go outside so that definitely helps the motivation. My alarm clock goes off about 6:25 and I hit snooze until 6:45. I go to Golds and run about 4 times a week. Then on the other days I'll do the eliptical machine and weights or whatever I feel like. I did the Pilates class this last Monday morning, and I loved it. So I'm gonna try and incorporate that in every week now.

As far as must haves- an IPOD!!! I can't run without an Ipod. It's torture without it. But do you remember how my ipod broke, yeah that sucked. I had a running tracker that hooked into my ipod nano and it would track my progress and that was a once a must have when I could use it. Now I just use Jesse's Ipod, but my thing won't hook into it. It only works with the Ipod nano. I had to retell that story, it was pretty traumatizing.

One other thing I need to incorporate is a Wii Fit! We don't have one....yet. We played it at PB and JS and it was so fun. I guess I'm gonna have to decide what to save up for first! Nano or Wii Fit?

*Standing to sing the National Anthem- We sang the whole thing at church last Sunday and who knew that baby was so long?

*Fireworks- There was one shaped like a heart in PC and it was the best.

Well B is for BROKEN IPOD, and if B is what you guessed then you win!

I am seriously so sad about it though! Especially since I just bought this Nike running thing that hooks into your Ipod nano and it tracks your running. The problem is it will only work on the nano. Jester has the bigger one, so although I can use his ipod, the tracking tot does me no good. It barely dropped 3 feet to the ground and now it won't turn on. All I'm trying to say is that this was a really sad moment in my life.

This weeks topic is to post a photo, share a memory or list a favorite SIGHT!

One of my favorite sights ever is the Ocean. It doesn't matter where, I just love it! I saw the ocean for the first time a little over a year ago in May. And since then I have taken every chance I have to see it again! I love to get right in the water and get completely demolished by the waves. I hope I can live by it someday.

This is Huntington Beach in California May 2007, this is the very first time I had seen the ocean and it was the best! Keelie, Cicelie, Jesse and I just decided one weekend, last minute, to road trip it and it was so fun!

This is August 2007 with my friend Danielle, we just decided to take a trip to Cancun! (Also VERY last minute)

This is probably the most disgusting picture of me alive, but I love the background so I'm putting it up. I loved San Francisco.

Last night I slept through the whole night! This is a big accomplishment because Monday night and Tuesday night my sleep was rudely interrupted by me throwing up. I think I just had the flu and I thought I was all better after the first time. But the next night was a repeat. And let me tell you it was a good time.

Why am I telling you this? Because I am desperate for a new post and this is all that has happened recently in my life:)

Only two weeks left of classes and then FINALS! I have never been so glad for a semester to be over. Let me tell you a few reasons why this semester has been nuts.

-I am taking 18 credits of upper division courses

-I have been planning a wedding

-I work 35 hours a week

-And I just wanna be with Jesse! I mean look at him!:)

I got to babysit my nephew Tayson last weekend and we had some really good shots. Thank you to the self timer on Jesse's camera.

Just one of our favorite past times- eatin cereal together. Tayson is the funniest to watch eat. He is so delicate with his cinnamon toast crunch! He picks it up one piece at a time, chews it thoroughly, and then goes in for the next piece.

Well it all begins tonight. As soon as my class finishes tonight at 6:45 I am officially on Spriiiiiiiinnnggggggggg Break. How will I spend it? In some tropical location? Getting tan? Eating treats? If you guessed any of these... you are wrong:). Well, except for maybe the treat part.

I will be spending my spring break working and painting. Jesse and I get to paint the basement of his parents house (which is where we will be living) on most nights and all day Saturday. Jesse: We are getting married in 53 days. I like Jesse's eyes-they are so brown! I like his new hair cut! It's looking so good! Thanks Cicelie! (this pic is not his new hair cut p.s.) I like how Jesser is so nice to me all the time and that he answers all the questions in our sunday school class. HE IS THE BEST!

Catty: This is such a good girf! I'm always wanting to steal her clothes because she has got that rockin style. One time she gave me a pair of shoes that were making her feet bleed and they ended up being my favorite shoes all last summer. Sometimes I contemplate giving her my obey hat, but then it's just too scary. Cat is good at jokes and really good at listening to stories, and watching the jazz game that is on right now.

Leia or Lega (if you will): I like Lega's new hair cut and I'm so jealous that she has never had to dye her hair. So lucky! She is going to teach me how to make good cookies. And I will never judge her no matter what career path she chooses:) Sorry the pic is so small lega. I had to steal it from facebook. start taking more pictures with me!
